On 05 November 2007, the membership of the Writers Guild of America went on strike. Their mission: to secure fair residual payments for their members.
On that same date, many viewers and fans of TV shows, movies, and 'promotional media' banded together and began looking for ways to help.
Which is to say: we went with them.
This is a page for non-members of the WGA to educate and organize themselves throughout the 2007 WGA strike, and to support those affected -- be they WGA members, their family, or other staff laid off as a result of the production shut-down.
